Rent-a-Piano

If you're thinking of a piano rental, almost any type of piano you want is in the London area. Pianos are available for short term rentals for weddings, concerts, parties, music festivals or on a monthly basis at home. Commercial rental in restaurants and bars is generally not done. There is too much risk of damage or disappearance.

Grands, Uprights, Digital Grands, and Digital Uprights are available either through us, the University, or possibly other dealers. Grand piano sizes range from 4' 7" to 7'6" and upright piano sizes range from apartment size to professional uprights. There is a wide variety of makes and finishes to suit your piano rental needs. We tend to serve the home market and think our prices are quite reasonable.

All of our rental pianos are tuned before going out on rental and are delivered by the best piano movers in Ontario. You can visit our showroom and select which piano you would like to rent, and depending on availability, we try to provide whatever you like.

With approved credit, you can rent for as long as you wish with no obligation to buy. We will also discount an amount up to the equivalent of 12 months of rental payments towards the purchase of another piano - but not the one you rent. Because of the laws in Ontario, it can not be the piano that you rent because if you go bankrupt the law interprets that situation as a deemed purchase and we lose big time.

Plumb Pianos has a variety of new and used apartment-size pianos available in different piano makes, sizes and colours to suit your style and space requirements. All our pianos have full-sized keyboards and come with a bench.

Short Term Piano Rental Rates

Policies for Short Term Piano Rentals

1. A valid credit card number is required for security as well as a cash deposit of $200.00 in case of damage. This will be returned after safe return of the instrument.

2. Payment is due at least one (1) week prior to delivery.

3. Any tuning or regulation of the piano must be done by a technician approved by Plumb Pianos.

4. Delivery to the site is done the day before or the day required and returned the same day or the next business day after the final day by movers approved by Plumb Pianos. You may not move the piano yourself.

5. The movers charge us more for weekend delivery, holidays, after hour delivery times, stairs, extended waiting times, or delivery outside London. These costs are extra.

6. From the time the instrument leaves Plumb Pianos until the time it returns, the customer is responsible for any loss or damage of any kind which may occur. It is recommended that you obtain insurance.

7. We reserve the right to refuse rental to certain events or locations for no reason at all.

Long Term Piano Rental Rates

We do not rent new pianos on a monthly basis. You may, however apply 12 months of rental payments towards a new piano.

36" - 44" $35.00 - 50.00 + tax

45" - 47" $40.00 - 60.00 + tax

48" and taller upright $40.00 - 75.00 + tax
